Ayodhya Ram Mandir: Before the consecration ceremony, PM Narendra Modi is seen entering the sanctum sanctorum of the Ram temple in Ayodhya in the video.

The historic Ram temple opening in Ayodhya on Monday was captured on camera, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi declared that the event “will be etched in our memories for years to come” today.

The Prime Minister is seen entering the temple’s sanctum sanctorum in the three-minute footage while wearing a crimson dupatta that has been folded and holding a silver umbrella.

Additionally, PM Modi was seen in the video receiving blessings from the new Ram Lalla idol and participating in the consecration ceremony at the recently built temple.

PM Modi wrote as the caption for the video on X, “What we saw in Ayodhya yesterday, January 22, will be etched in our memories for years to come.”

During the ‘pran pratishtha’ rites, Sadhvi Ritambhara, a well-known leader of the Ram temple movement, was seen crying in the video.

“After centuries of anticipation, our Ram has arrived,” Prime Minister Modi is heard saying in the video while addressing more than 7,000 dignitaries during the Ram Mandir inauguration ceremony.

Additionally, Prime Minister Modi is seen dousing the laborers who helped build the Ayodhya temple with petals.

He stated that “January 22, 2024, is not just a date on the calendar but it marks the beginning of a new era” earlier on Monday.

“A tent will no longer be the home of our Ram Lalla. Now our Ram Lalla shall dwell in this holy shrine,” he declared to the assembly.

According to him, it was the consecration of “unwavering faith in Indian culture” in the person of Lord Ram, in addition to the dedication of the idol of Lord Ram in Ayodhya.

During the thirty-minute speech, he declared, “We must lay the foundation for the next thousand years of Bharat from today, from this sacred moment.”
