The highly anticipated OnePlus 12 series, which includes the smartphones OnePlus 12 and OnePlus 12R, has been launched globally by OnePlus. These premium smartphones are powered by Qualcomm’s flagship processor and have sophisticated camera functions.

The much-awaited OnePlus 12 series has finally been released in the global market, including India, by OnePlus, a massive Chinese consumer tech company. The OnePlus 12 and OnePlus 12R smartphones in this series, which is powered by Qualcomm’s flagship CPU, provide sophisticated camera functions. Alongside the phones, OnePlus also unveiled the OnePlus Buds 3.

OnePlus 12: Features

Display and Design: With a 6.82-inch 2K OLED LTPO display, the OnePlus 12 is equipped with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and Corning Gorilla Glass 5.0 for the back panel for added protection.

Performance: The OnePlus 12 sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 engine, 16GB LPDDR5X RAM, and 512GB UFS 4.0 storage.

Operating system-wise, the smartphone is powered by Oxygen OS, an Android 14 derivative, and has an in-display fingerprint sensor.

Battery and charging: The smartphone has a 5,400mAh battery that can enable 50W wireless fast charging in addition to 100W SuperVOOC USB Type-C fast charging.

Three cameras are included in the OnePlus 12’s setup: a 48MP ultra-wide camera, a 64MP telephoto camera, and a 50MP primary wide-angle camera with optical image stabilisation.

The gadget has a 32-megapixel front-facing camera that can be optimised for a Hasselblad 4.0.

OnePlus 12R: Features 

Display and designThe 6.78-inch display on the OnePlus 12R is shielded by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection.

The OnePlus 11 series, which debuted in 2023 of last year, is similar in style.

Performance: The OnePlus 12R has 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage and 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, all of which are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 engine.

The smartphone is further powered by Oxygen OS, an Android 14-based operating system.

Battery and charging: The OnePlus 12R has a 5,500mAh battery that supports 100W SuperVOOC rapid charging.

Camera Setup: Along with a 50MP primary OIS camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro camera, the OnePlus 12R also has a triple camera configuration. The device has a 16MP camera on the front.

Cost and Availability

There will be two OnePlus 12R models available:

• 8GB RAM and 128GB available for Rs 39,999.

• 16GB RAM and 256GB storage at INR 45,999.

The OnePlus 12 comes in two varieties:

• 12GB RAM and 256GB storage for INR 64,999

• 16GB RAM and 512GB storage at INR 69,999.

There are two color variations for each series:

• The Iron Grey and Cool Blue OnePlus 12R

• The OnePlus 12 in Silky Black and Flowy Emerald
