Nitish Kumar Is Paltumaar: Prashant Kishor
Prashant Kishor stated that today’s events demonstrate how Nitish Kumar has portrayed the state’s political landscape in his favour.
Prashant Kishor, an election strategist, referred to Chief Minister Nitish Kumar as “paltumaar” and stated that his politics now included wearing flip-flops in a scathing critique of the Bihar power change. Mr. Kishor did not spare the BJP either, claiming that its leaders, who had been denouncing Mr. Kumar just a few days prior, were now welcoming him. Mr. Kishor currently leads the Jan Suraj organization, which may support certain candidates in the upcoming Bihar election.
“Paltumar” refers to a person who continually changes his position. Following five political reversals in ten years, detractors have dubbed Mr. Kumar “paltumar” or “paltu kumar.”
Since the beginning, I have maintained that Nitish Kumar is free to switch at any time. This is now included in his political platform. However, current events demonstrate that Bihar’s leaders and all political parties are ‘paltumaars’. In a news conference that ANI has broadcast, Mr. Kishor stated, “It is now proven that (Prime Minister) Narendra Modi, (Home Minister) Amit Shah, and the BJP are also ‘paltumaars.'”
In 2018, the poll strategist became a temporary member of the JDU and was later promoted to vice-president of the party. However, he was banished soon after making comments that were critical of the JDU’s choice to support the Citizenship Amendment Act.
According to him, the BJP had stated months prior that Mr. Kumar was not welcome inside. “The BJP politicians who attacked Nitish Kumar verbally yesterday are today praising him as a representative of responsible leadership. Bihar is corrupt today, according to RJD, which was hailing him as a leader for the future “, he claimed.
He replied that the topic was no longer worth debating because everyone knew Mr. Kumar was a paltumaar. “But today’s developments show that Mr Kumar has painted the state’s politics in his colours and BJP and RJD are as big ‘paltumaars’ as Nitish Kumar,” he continued.
In response to the events in Bihar, Mr. Kishor made another forecast. “I’m going to make another guess, and if I’m wrong, you can catch me.” The newly formed partnership won’t endure till after the assembly elections. According to a PTI report, he stated, “In fact, it might fall apart within a few months of the Lok Sabha elections.”
“Now, the BJP is carrying out the actions that the Congress took under RJD chief Lalu Prasad. For meagre gains at the federal level, both national parties have sided with extremely unpopular regional leaders,” he continued.
After splitting from the BJP and rejoining the Opposition alliance 1.5 years ago, Mr. Kumar resigned as Chief Minister this morning, breaking his partnership with the RJD and the Congress.
This evening, the eight-time chief minister will probably take the oath of office for the ninth time. Mr Kumar will be sworn in with eight ministers, including two BJP Deputy Chief Ministers.
