Arun Yogiraj, Sculptor of Ramlalla’s idol for grand Pran Pratishtapana in Ayodhya

The magnificent Ram temple in Ayodhya will be revered by the idol of “Ram Lalla,” which was crafted by notable Karnataka sculptor Arun Yogiraj.

The statue that has been chosen for installation in the Ram Temple in Ayodhya is a tribute to the great sculptor Arun Yogiraj, who comes from a family of five generations of well-known sculptors in Mysore.

The idol for Lord Rama’s Prana Pratishtapana in Ayodhya has been chosen, according to a social media post made by Union minister Pralhad Joshi on Monday. The renowned national sculptor Yogiraj Arun will create an idol of Lord Rama, which will be erected in Ayodhya.

Arun was also congratulated by former Karnataka chief minister B S Yediyurappa, who also expressed delight in the idol of Lord Ram being chosen to be installed in Ram Mandir.

“The entire state’s pride and satisfaction have quadrupled with the installation of the majestic Sri Rama Mandir in Ayodhya, which houses the idol of Lord Rama carved by Mysuru’s Arun Yogiraj. My sincere congrats to “Shilpi @yogiraj_arun.”

Arun revealed to PTI that he hasn’t heard anything official about the acceptance of the idol he sculpted. But a message from top BJP officials on “X” gave him the impression that his work had been approved.

“The idol ought to depict a divine child as well, as it represents the statue of God’s incarnation,” Arun remarked. The deity should be felt by those who gaze upon the statue.

I began working on this project roughly six or seven months ago, keeping in mind both the divine aspect and the childlike face. I am delighted right now. People should value it more than selection. I won’t be content until then,” the sculptor continued.
