Ira Khan, the daughter of Aamir Khan and his ex-wife Reena Dutta, is getting married to her fiancé Nupur Shikhare this month.

Prior to the wedding of his daughter Ira Khan and his ex-wife Reena Dutta, Aamir Khan’s Bandra home has been lit up. On Wednesday, January 3, Ira and her fiancé Nupur Shikhare are scheduled to exchange vows. At the Khan-Shikhare houses, preparations for the wedding are well underway. Before the wedding, Aamir’s first wife Reena’s home was similarly decorated with lights and flowers.

Ira has been posting behind-the-scenes photos to Instagram during her wedding planning. The 27-year-old recently posted pictures from her Kelvan ceremony in Maharashtra, in which she was shown devouring a traditional meal on a banana leaf alongside Mithila Palkar, Kiran Rao, Nupur, and Azad Rao Khan.

On Wednesday morning, Ira and Nupur are reportedly getting married in the Maharashtrian manner. Ira had shared a glimpse of her personalized puzzles and head massager that was included in her wedding invitations.

Recently, Aamir had talked candidly about Ira’s wedding. He had stated, “Main toh bada emotional hota hoon bhai, uss din main bahut rone waala hoon yeh toh tay hai,” in an interview with News18. I’m going to cry a lot during Ira’s wedding, I promise—I’m that sentimental). Since I am quite sensitive, the family has already started talking about how to “take care of Aamir that day,” or “Aamir ko sambaalna uss din.” Neither my grin nor my tears are under control.
