Stand-up comedian Munawar Faruqui defeated actor Abhishek Kumar in the finale of the reality show Big Boss 17.

‘Bigg Boss 17’ wrapped up a thrilling season that was full of drama, emotions, and surprising turns with a stunning conclusion that had fans gripping their chairs. Ankita Lokhande, Munawar Faruqui, Abhishek Kumar, Mannara Chopra, and Arun Mahshettey were the five finalists competing for the coveted title of Bigg Boss 17 Winner on the much-awaited night. The show’s winner, Munawar Faruqui, takes home a prize money of Rs 50 lakh.

The grand finale, which was hosted by Bollywood star Salman Khan, began with thrilling performances and sentimental moments. Excitement was in the air as the finalists prepared for their ultimate clash.

An emotional element was added by the finalists’ families, friends, and former housemates being present to watch the suspenseful conclusion. Salman Khan revealed Ankita Lokhande as the third runner-up after a heart-pounding wait. In the live voting final, where Bollywood stars Ajay Devgn and R Madhavan were the special guests, Munawar defeated actor Abhishek Kumar.

He thanked his supporters on his official X account and shared a photo of Salman Khan clutching the Bigg Boss season 17 trophy.

Along for the trophy in the grand finale were actors Mannara Chopra, Ankita Lokhande, and YouTuber Arun Srikanth Mahashetty.

Mr. Faruqui emerged victorious in the first season of the Kangana Ranaut-hosted reality TV programme “Lock Upp” in 2022.

On October 15, 2023, the 17th season of “Bigg Boss” had its launch. Among the candidates were Vicky Jain, Ayesha Khan, Anurag Dobhal, Aishwarya Sharma, Neil Bhatt, Isha Malviya, Jigna Vora, Firoza Khan, and Rinku Dhawan.
