A roadshow was held in Ahmedabad on Tuesday night by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), who was visiting the country. The Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit is set to begin in Gandhinagar on Wednesday.

The UAE president was greeted at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is visiting his home state to take part in the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit, before the roadshow.

Along with PM Modi, Foreign Secretary Vinay Mohan Kwatra, Chief Minister of Gujarat Bhupendra Patel, Minister of External Affairs S Jaishankar, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, and a few other high-ranking state officials, the UAE president was welcomed at the airport.

After arriving, the president of the United Arab Emirates was given a ceremonial guard of honor. There was a fifteen-minute roadshow. People gathered in great numbers on both sides of the road to greet PM Modi and the president of the UAE with waves. To greet the president of the UAE, banners were put up along the route.

The president of the United Arab Emirates will be the chief guest at PM Modi’s Wednesday opening of the 10th edition of the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit, which will take place at the Mahatma Mandir Convention Centre in Gandhinagar.

The presidents of Mozambique and Timor-Leste, Jose Ramos-Horta and Filipe Jacinto Nyusi, met one-on-one earlier in the day with the Indian prime minister; both men will be present at the international summit. At Gandhinagar’s Mahatma Mandir, Prime Minister Modi also met with CEOs of major international companies.

PM Modi will inaugurate the Vibrant Gujarat Global Trade Show at approximately 3 p.m. On Wednesday, Chief Executive Officers of major international firms will meet with Prime Minister Modi. After that, the prime minister will go to GIFT City to attend the Global FinTech Leadership Forum and speak with notable business executives.

‘Gateway to the Future’ is the theme of the tenth Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit. This year’s Summit has sixteen partner organizations and thirty-four partner countries. The Vibrant Gujarat platform will be utilized by the North-Eastern Region’s Ministry of Development to exhibit investment prospects within the region.
