On Wednesday, Mukesh Ambani declared that Reliance will always be a Gujarati business. Speaking at the premier investment event in the coastal state, Vibrant Gujarat Summit, Asia’s second richest person praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi, calling him the most successful Indian prime minister ever.

Gujarat, one of India’s wealthiest states, is the birthplace of both Modi and Ambani.

“I have traveled from the city of the Gateway of India to Gujarat, the Gateway of the growth of contemporary India. I’m proud to be Gujarati. Foreigners envision a new Gujarat when they envision a new India. How was this change brought about? Because of one man, the most successful prime minister in Indian history and the most prominent worldwide leader of our time, PM Modi “said.

Gujarat is the location of one-third of Ambani’s company’s 150 billion dollar investments in India.

“Reliance was, is, and will always remain a Gujarati company…Reliance has invested over 150 billion dollars – ₹12 lakh crores – in creating world-class assets and capacities across India in the last 10 years, of which more than 1/3rd has been invested in Gujarat alone,” he said.

The Vibrant Gujarat meeting was described by Mukesh Ambani as the world’s most prominent investors’ meeting.

Greetings from Gujarat to the 10th Vibrant Gujarat Summit, the world’s most esteemed investors’ gathering. No other summit of this caliber has persisted for two decades and is still growing today. This is a credit to PM Modi’s foresight and dependability,” he continued.

When he was Gujarat’s chief minister, Narendra Modi initiated the conference.

No force on earth, according to Ambani, can prevent India from becoming a 35 trillion dollar economy. According to him, Gujarat’s GDP will be worth $3 trillion.

“The finest time for young people to enter the economy is now, in India, to innovate and give hundreds of millions of people a better quality of life and means of subsistence. Prime Minister Modi will undoubtedly receive gratitude from the next generation for his both nationalist and internationalist views. In Amrit Kaal, you have established a strong basis for “Vikasit Bharat,” or India as a fully developed nation. By 2047, India will have grown its GDP to 35 trillion dollars, and no force on earth can stop it. And Gujarat alone, in my opinion, will grow to be a $3 trillion economy,” Ambani declared.
